Congrats. Waiting to hear from a 8/27-8/29 CB (so aware I'm in a "hold" pile). Will have to hear soon, or Ropes won't factor into my decision (have expiring offers from peer firms).

So do we know if Ropes (or other firms) have a "hold" pile? It's been over three weeks since my CB and no offer but no ding either. Still holding out hope

Same but I received an email last week asking about any offer deadlines. I'm guessing my only chance is it they get less yield than their original predictions?

I'm in the same 3+ week "hold" pile. I don't expect an offer at this point but I sent them a LOCI anyway since my offer deadlines are pretty far off and I figured I might as well wait.

Thinking I'm just going to withdraw preemptively if I don't hear anything by Wednesday and accept elsewhere.

Yeah, they've already sent out offers at my school and had people accept/turn them down, so I don't think it bodes well that I'm still on hold.

I'm in a hold pile for a different firm, also ~3 weeks post CB, and they haven't sent out a single offer yet at my school (where they usually do half a dozen or so) - that seems like a more worthwhile hold to stay on.

Interviewed with the D.C. office and have a message waiting for me on my phone from Ropes. Looks like the call was placed around 10 this morning while I was in court. I will have to wait until lunch to call them back, as I'm working in a judge's chambers right now. Praying it's an offer.
