Does we this if we want a better chance at grabbing an alternate interview we're supposed to camp out until midnight on July 8?

MA Male
School: T-40
Rank: Median
Ties to Bay Area?: Yes
IP?: No

# of bids: 17
# of Pre-Selects: 1
# of Alternates: 0

Anyone else get Lief, Cabraser?

Also, I am probably going to sound incredibly dumb but how do you schedule the interview after accepting? Or after accepting are you automatically assigned an interview slot? I am quite excited so I might be overlooking something very simple. Thanks

All -

In assessing our needs for the upcoming year, the San Francisco office of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP has determined that we are currently well supplied with junior associates due to our success in recruiting and retaining associates. We expect to return next year to the Bay Area Diversity Career Fair. We regret any inconvenience that making this decision after the initial packets were submitted may have caused any students.
Instead of meaningfully apologizing to the students who may may have wasted 1 out of their 25 bids on us we at Drinker Biddle will take this time to pat ourselves on the back for the success of our legal recruiting team who decided at the very last minute to pull out of BADCF because, well, they are just that good.

I wasted a bid on Drinker and that other turd firm that did the same shit. GFYs. Didn't want to work at your un-preftigious low-Vault ranking firm anyways.

At least now I know not to bid the firm at my school's OCI since they're not really hiring. May I ask which other firm backed out?

It would say if we got anything from the lottery on the same screen where we accepted any pre-selects, right? If so, I got nothing either. :(

Nothing here...yet. Then again, maybe they haven't run the lottery yet. From previous years, it looks like the interview slot #s should fluctuate when lottery slots are assigned, and it looks like people were discovering new lottery picks in their Symplicity during the day. :|

My bid for Latham was dropped from the bid rankings but I found it at the bottom of my 2nd page and I ended up snagging another preselect, pretty great surprise

My Latham bid got dropped. Didn't get a preselect, though. I thought I had just screwed up the drop-down menus and not bid on them at all. Well, that solves that mystery.
