yea I agree - I was just picking up groceries at TJ's last night, KC was $30 and Maker's $23, and I prefer Makers.Blindmelon wrote:How cheap is it? I don't think KC is anywhere near worth the money. I'd honestly take Evan Williams over KC even at the same price, but I might just have cheap tastes that way.Blindmelon wrote:How cheap is it? I don't think KC is anywhere near worth the money. Re: 2015 Vault Rankings
Make sure market priced, craft whiskeys are left off the list to reflect their lack of quality.
Actually, maybe throw in a craft whiskey at roughly 13th and 15th so that we can discuss how long it will take them to pass festering whiskeys in decline like Crown Royal.

What advice if by superficial appearances your whiskey is in decline but has seen you through many dark days? Stick with it? Trade up? Or find a new drink altogether?

Would the V10 whiskey list include both Tennessee and Bourbon? If so, then that's not kosher. Then Canadians will want in too.

Re: 2015 Vault Rankings
I'd take Rittenhouse over most whiskey under $50. Inb4 "rye doesn't count". Definitely a V25 whiskey.ymmv wrote:I'd honestly take Evan Williams over KC even at the same price, but I might just have cheap tastes that way.Blindmelon wrote:How cheap is it? Re: 2015 Vault Rankings
Honestly sounds like you have good taste. Evan Williams is better than it should be - cheap and drinkable straight. I think you would like basil hayden - its around 30/35 a bottle and has a similar profile but less of that cheap whiskey stank.ymmv wrote:I'd honestly take Evan Williams over KC even at the same price, but I might just have cheap tastes that way.Blindmelon wrote:How cheap is it?
