Is anyone here waiting after 2+ weeks? Has anyone gotten DC big law 2+ weeks after CB? I had what I thought was amazing callback and have heard zero will be 3 weeks on friday

Been four weeks since CB for me. Have checked in and been promised a response this week. Clearly on the waitlist, they're waiting to hear back accept/rejects from their first round of offers.

You should email to check in if it's been substantially longer than they said it would take.

Ok but how do you phrase this without a reason for the email? (i.e. I don't have another offer about to expire). And do you write to recruiter or who?

Re-affirm your interest in firm, thank them for arranging CB if you haven't already, ask if they need anything else, check on timeline.

I got a V50 offer 3+ weeks after my CB.

Every firm is different. It seems impossible to generalize.

I was told by a mid-sized firm that I'd hear back in ~2 weeks post-CB. It has been nearly a month and no ding or offer. I sent an email earlier this week reaffirming my interest, asking if they needed additional docs/info, and asking about their timeline. No response... I'm guessing this isn't a good sign, but I don't know if I there's anything else I could/should do or simply wait and continue to look elsewhere for an offer.

Covington not only called my references, but also asked a professor who was listed as a reference for one of my classmates whether he knew me and could comment on me. I did not get a callback.

Are you talking pre or post-CB? I don't think they call everyone's references that they screen, but everyone who gets a CB had their references called.

I heard of a CCN student who had a cb early last week with an offer following a few days later.
