I'm also trying to change cities (from NY), and I don't understand what mass mailing like crazy means. No city other than NY has more than 10 firms to mass mail. Are you trying to switch to NY? Sorry you're not getting it. I have a few places I'd be comfortable with living and I have ties to. I don't really care about V10 or whatever because those rankings are NYC corporate centric. I applied to everything from V10s to boutiques. I sent out like 80 emails. I posted the above. I haven't heard anything from either firm and it'll be around a week on mon & tues, so I'm not feeling that great about it. I remember last year most of my offers came around 3-5 days after the interview, and I'm wondering if I should be concerned about this. I'm not sure if 3L hiring is any different.
