Bond paper?
OCS recommended in some email or website that resumes be on bond paper.

Personally, whatever is in the printer at the Kinko's is what I'll be using. I can't imagine anybody gives a shit.

Do you really want to work for a place that would give a shit? If I was handed a resume on bond paper, I'd think the guy's a tool.
I used the fancy paper at Kinkos. I'm a special snowflake.

Also happy night before EIW. Weeeeeeeeeeeee.

Guys, let's try not to increase people's anxiety:

1) On the spot callbacks are probably not given to all those who get callbacks. So it's probably not so helpful to share.

2) Callbacks without interviewer initials, or some hint of the interviewer, also are probably unhelpful. Some interviewers call right away, while other from they same firm do not.

My Cleary interviewer said that all the interviewers had to 'debrief' before making any CB calls, so I doubt this.

Probably a stupid question, do we arrange CB dates as soon as we get the call or should we wait a day or two?

I speak from experience when I say, do it ASAP. Those slots fill up VERY fast, and you want as early a date as possible.

Depends on the firm. Some firms will allow you schedule your CB as you get the call, other firms will then email you or call you at a later date to arrange callback scheduling. As noted above, you want to do so at the earliest possibility, just be aware that you might not be able to when they call you the night of your screening interview.

Ditto...Also, I assume we don't call back the interviewers (they left a VM), we just call the recruiting #? And we don't need to send thank yous to anybody?

And did anyone receive a phone call from a 201 area code number? They called but did not leave a message. Although it may have been the delivery guy for the food I ordered...

As a non-NYer, I have to ask- if people could be specific about which office they got callbacks from, it would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Noted, but I bet if people don't mention it's almost def NY. I bet other offices take longer (or so I've heard, could be wrong about this).

Did Latham say in the callback vm that they would be emailing you later? If so has anyone gotten the email?
