If you listed JBL second and didn't get a call, does that mean that you're on LR? Is it possible to not get any journal at all?

It is impossible to get no journal unless you did something wrong, and it's very rare that you get pushed to your third choice journal.

Congratulations! You (probably) made LR. Go have a beer.

Sounds like JBL was pretty popular. I'm going to keep telling myself that I made my third choice journal or screwed up, because I am in this boat, and I would be blown away if I made LR.

Why would you be blown away? Didn't feel good about the writing comp?

Pretty much. Didn't come close to finishing, realized I cited a number of things incorrectly afterwords, and my essays sucked. But you never know, I guess.

As of late Thursday afternoon, some people received their journal confirmation. If no confirmation, then there exists a possibility of LR, or else no journal nor LR. Is this assumption correct?

Is the assumption that if you haven't heard from any journal you possibly either made LR or didn't make any journal correct? Is that what you're asking??

Yes. Possibility of getting neither.

I don't see how it couldn't be "possible." You'd have to be a pretty terrible writer/editor not to get any journals.

Someone earlier in this thread said "in the next few minutes." Not sure if that person was actually making the calls. Either way, do we know if JCL or JIL have made any calls today?

Who knows. I guess JIL and JCL are tomorrow? Unless people have already heard about those too...

I think so, I haven't heard anything from my friends within the past 40 mins or so.
