Have 4 of the above, but I don't feel like posting even more self-identifying information in this thread so if you wanna do this by PM then hit me up

Hey everyone,
I'm a recent transfer admit and am only posting anonymously because I would completely give away my identity with my username.
I'm new to the lottery system and was looking for some advice on how strategic I should be v. just putting the firms I wanna work for most the highest.
I have been looking at the OCI ppt from last year. Some of the firms that I really want to work for, and think are realistic targets have successful bid %s of 40-60%, whereas some of the firms that are still in my top 15, but are not my favorites have bid %s of 10-15%.
How high would I need to put a firm to ensure I get it, even if it has a fairly high successful bid %?
To avoid completely vagueness, I'll use Paul Hastings 49% and Cooley 8% as an example. If I would prefer Paul Hastings, but Cooley is so much more selective, how high should I put each?

Got 22 interviews. 15 out of my top 20. Mostly NYC but 3-4 CA.
Missed Skadden, Sidley, Kirkland, and Weil for NYC. Had Sidley at 10 too, guess I was only one away.
I'm seeking Sidley and/or Kirkland if anyone's willing to trade?

Penn is awesome. Every school should allow people to trade interview slots.

There is a classified section on the goat, you can post your requests there once the final schedule is out.

End up with 25, I think there is one firm on my wish list I didn't get. So very good! End up getting Skadden NY and KE NY too.

Nice! Those were the two I wanted that I didn't get. I think I'll trade up for some firms now that I know I'm on LR.
Still, I can't complain -- I picked up 6 interviews off the waitlist/the additional 20 bids.

Got 2 more interviews...now up to 32, and definitely willing to trade!
I'm looking for
dla piper and Latham the most, and I'm also looking for Gibson Dunn, Cleary, Kirkland, Debevoise, Arnold & Porter, Mayer Brown, and Allen & Overy (all New York).
If you have any of these, PM me and I'll send you what I have. I'm willing to trade pretty much anything except my top 2.

Thanks. Going out today and tomorrow? Do you have any call back info on any particular firm(s)?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
