Don't want to out myself as a pretty chill bro. That seems to be bad form among SAs. On my way to go start a thread non-anonymously about being worried about cold offers for not billing enough hours over the summer.

mine e-mailed me some stuff ahead of time - just basic stuff like i-9, w-2, confidentiality agreement, etc. if you don't get anything ahead of time i'm sure they'll just have you fill it out when you get there.

mine e-mailed me some stuff ahead of time - just basic stuff like i-9, w-2, confidentiality agreement, etc. if you don't get anything ahead of time i'm sure they'll just have you fill it out when you get there.

Ditto. Basic employment stuff with a few legal field-specific forms and policies. Just make sure you have those I-9 docs for day 1 - I forgot my birth certificate for an UG internship once and it was a huge hassle.

Just got in my office! Very nice - has my name on the door and everything. Has a nice view of Boston Harbor as well!!

I can't believe they put me right at the glass windows next to entrance elevators; I'm the first "attorney" people see when they walk in. Gotta make sure I don't look shitty.

First day is nothing to worry about. Mine was a bunch of HR and training BS.

Got my own office with huge panoramic window. Name plate. Double screens. First day was okay. Received my first assignment today and worked on it the last three hours of the day. Some big names stopped by my office to say hi and welcome me. Bailed out around 6:30 pm.

Damn, thats a lot of work on the first day. All I had was orientation and eating (bfast/lunch/dinner).

Wore a blue shirt and khakis. Will bring a suit to the office for hearings and stuff.

Our firm explicitly told us to wear business casual after the first day. If the firm told me not to wear a suit after the first day, and no one else is wearing a suit in the office, then I'm not going to wear a suit.
