Hahaha. You do realize that Boies is Band 3 in litigation in Chambers right? But, since they're band 3, Simpson Thacher must be better! For NYC:
T6 (Elite-Band 1 in both Corporate and General Litigation)
Chambers is flawed too.

Fair. Law is really the only industry with an arguable 100-200 "prestigious" firms. With consulting, theres only 5 or 6. Maybe when they open up law partnerships to non-lawyer capital investments and conflicts rules get revised all the firms will merge into 5 or 6 mega firms.Fresh Prince wrote:Hahaha. Hahahaha. Boies has something like seventy people in their NYC office, and is more a lit boutique than anything. Of course they're going to be an exception.Fresh Prince wrote:Hahaha. Aside from that, if you think there's a difference in litigation experience between a Band 1 and a Band 2 firm, you truly are the type of person who's willing to be cuckolded by prestige points. If anything, several firms outside that Band 1 provide more early experience to juniors than any of the firms in Band 1 (Kasowitz, Boies, Patterson, etc.).Anonymous User wrote:Hahahaha.
