Has the lottery happened? Or, alternatively, does anyone know when it will happen?

Also got nothing in the lottery. The "estimated 2L slots" column has changed to a much smaller number than before...maybe this reflects the # of people selected for lottery interviews.

For those that got nothing in the lottery, did you get a lot of preselects / alternates?

I got only 2 pre. Got one lottery.

Actually, no. It still says "not selected," but it lists a date in the "Interview Dates" column.

Does anyone know what happens after you "accept alternate"? Does it go back to some algorithm to somehow prioritize your accepting click with the available time you have during the day and spit out a schedule later?

I'm wondering the same thing. I hit "accept" for all of them, now what?

I emailed to ask, and thought I'd share the response:
The scheduler will run on Tuesday, July 26 (after the alternate sign-up deadline). This will determine the final schedule, and the open interview slots currently remaining from each employer will be filled on a sequential basis, based on the time that you accept your alternate status versus other students.

I've been working two concurrent jobs and haven't had time to do jack in terms of research so I'm sweating.

Yes!

I had 6 interviews total, and I thought that 3 went pretty well, 2 went okay, and 1 was rather "meh."

It's funny that diversity in the legal profession (and particularly in the bay) means asians and indians. I mean the hotel was in CHINATOWN!!

That said, I think my interviews went well. I felt like I was on my game. Some firms said they would get back to me in a week or two, and I was very excited about the firms that I got the chance to speak with yesterday.

And then I drank a lot and danced the night away in proper form.

I'm so curious which firms gave you a timeline...

I had 5 interviews and thought they generally went well.

Good luck, all!
