ITT: we realize Yuppie Loser Schools do best.
With the offers from 3 V5, 2 V10 and 1 V15, I'm the biggest loser of 'em all!

sorry bout your tiny pink wachtell rejection, dooder
No worries. It's all good.
Anyway, I rejected all the V5 offers so you have a shot at them now if you're still waiting to hear from them. Good luck.

This was a 2 years ago, but I got only 1 offer out of 6 callbacks.
Unusual circumstance though with the Lehman collapse coming right after I got offer #1, but before all the other callbacks.

CCN transfer top 5% at T2
9 callbacks
6 rejections (throughout v100)
1 offer (non v100 pays market)
2 pending
All NYC
Though I would have better luck but am happy with the offer I have. Still waiting on a V5 + V20, but don't have much hope of them pulling through.

NYU, a bit below median, had about a 40% callback:screener ratio, but probably a 10% offer:callback ratio
For me, it was much easier to get callbacks than to get offers.

Same. I landed callbacks from around 50% of my screening interviews. Much lower offer to callback rate. (And haven't heard anything at all from a couple of the firms I did callbacks with.) Really makes me think - is it my grades, interviewing ability, or just product of the market?

5 Call Backs, 3 Dings, waiting on 2 (one for a month now).
No work experience or ties to any particular area, which is what I think is killing me.
What market?
DC, because I had at least lived there before. This process is hell on military brats.
Update! Callbacks rose to 7, and I have one offer (and 1 firm I am still waiting on). But it was my first choice firm that came through (and my close second is the one which still needs to get back to me)! I am so incredibly happy.
Lesson learned though: next time, pick a market which is NOT DC.

T20 tansfer from TT...took 10 out of 12 cbs (engineering ug w/ no w/e)...2 offers, 5 rejections, withdrew from 3 before decision (so like 29%)...as some posters intimated above - it was way easier to score cbs than offers. Prob a result of 1) lower cb/offer ratios for firms or 2) my shtty interviewing skillz.

100%. 1 callback, 1 offer in DC market. Feeling lucky.
To poster above me: Killself isn't a valid option. Don't even joke about that. Just keep sending in applications to in-house, government, smaller firms. BigLaw isn't the end-all be-all of the legal profession, though TLS may lead you to believe otherwise. Apply for court externships, you'll work for free, but the experience is both valuable and fun. Persevere.
