Anyone going to the UVa tournament this weekend? I'm with the GW team and would be glad to meet up with anyone who will be down there...

Not working there, but like any firm, wear a suit on the first day and then see what associates are wearing/ask an associate what he/she recommends you wear.

If the firm didn't tell you what to wear, then either (1) call and ask or (2) do what sup kid suggested.

If the firm said "business casual," but previous summers said everyone wore a suit on the first day, what should I do?

You wear a suit on the first day, period. If you get there and feel overdressed (which you won't, everyone will be wearing a suit) you can just take off the jacket.

Hey, the email sent out for "first day" matters said "business" (i.e., suit) first day because of the lunch, so just wear that :D See you soon!
