Re: Yale FIP
If you wanted dings from Cravath and Cleary, you could have stayed at NYU (kidding, kidding). Honestly, best of luck. I hope your Jenner DC callback goes well. I know a couple of NYUers at Jenner DC this summer, and both are great people. I'm sure the NYU administration wasn't too happy to lose a top student, but you've got to do what's best for you. I'll get out of the Yale thread now...dbt wrote:Also Cravath dinged. Nice interview, but never wanted to work there lol.

Re: Yale FIP
Lol hey come on I was expecting a good shot at Cleary (NYU or Yale). And Cleary was probably my favorite NY firm, but I prefer DC, Jenner is great, and so this makes it all easier (so long as I get the offer). Thanks for the good luck.twistedwrister wrote:If you wanted dings from Cravath and Cleary, you could have stayed at NYU (kidding, kidding). Honestly, best of luck. Yeah, I'm kind of surprised about the Cleary ding. They are kind of quirky though. Jenner DC is great for appellate work, if that's what you want to do. I wouldn't go there for anything else, though.dbt wrote:Lol hey come on I was expecting a good shot at Cleary (NYU or Yale). Ding from Wilson Sonsini, which was easily my worst interview, and OMM Century City, which I thought was my best.
It's like gymnastics judging, I guess.

Paul Weiss gave some people CBs on the spot at the screening interview.
Ropes Boston and Chicago (NY and DC unconfirmed) and Kirkland DC have also made calls.
