Did anyone else do a CB with Latham NY like weeks ago and still haven't heard back? Is this waitlist purgatory, or just a delayed ding?

Ya I thought I crushed the CB more than any other interview but dead silence and now going to accept a diff offer probably. Assume a WL but really enjoyed the people I talked to so good luck!!

just to contribute data point, i got my offer within 24 hours. I think Latham's class size in New York is smaller than some of its peer firms? So they are probably being more cautious. maybe reach out to them and let them know if you have an urgent deadline from a different firm

Late to the party, but data for others:

Willkie offer (cb 2 business days before)
Milbank offer (cb day before)
Skadden ding (cb ~week before)
Debevoise ding (cb ~week before)

Stats: ~top 25%, some prior work experience

Accepted Willkie offer! Good luck to all!

Paul Hastings offer 2.3, cb the week after OCI
Fried Frank offer 2.3, cb this Monday
Allen Overy ding, cb the week after OCI

It seems that firms are kind of slow in giving out results, so don't lose hope, keep calm and carry on. Good luck guys.

Just a cautionary word; don't urge the firms that you have an exploding offer if you are in the "wait-list" pile; I told Ropes/Cleary I have an expiring offer yesterday and got dinged today. Given their very high CB-offer ratio from previous years, I think this is a good warning.

Thanks for the warning! Did you get dings from both ropes and cleary?

Agreed. It can help, but you have to be careful. If you are already on the margin, you will be dinged.
