When going on a CB, the firm asked me to set up my travel arrangements through X company, but I am planning to drive since it's a short drive and taking a train would be a waste/headache. If I spoke to recruitment contact about driving, got the ok to drive, then received another email telling me to set up travel through X company, is it a bad look to still drive?

I doubt it -- the email was probably sent to all scheduled CBs. You can typically reimburse gas for miles driven at a set rate. Did they send a reimbursement form? Nalp also has one.

That's what I was thinking, but wanted to get some feedback so I don't auto-ding myself for not following directions. They sent the reimbursement form so I guess I'll just ask the recruiter how to fill it out for my situation when I get there. Appreciate it
