At the risk of sounding incredibly insensitive, what should we do if we've received an offer via voicemail? Are we expected to call them back and say thanks? Seems like the polite thing to do but also awkward if I don't have anything else to say beyond "thank you."

Call recruiting at the firm and ask if you're getting a formal email/letter and ask what the next steps in the process are (i.e. how long is the offer valid, etc).

Not sure if this is relevant, but since I personally like seeing any and all news on here- Fried Frank is opening more CBs (evening, it seems like) in the next week or so and are moving some up.

I went to one of those evening CBs at a different firm and I wouldn't recommend it. I was exhausted, and one of the people I was interviewing with didn't even bother to cover up their huge yawn.
