just send it.summertimechi wrote:i know that for you guys that seems far away but for me, having just sent in my deposit a few days ago, that seems awfully soon and makes me think that by now the sposts are probably all filled. wondering if it's even worth sending in my seat deposit receipt to my lowly t10 school now, especially after my dismal interview. sigh.excitedutterance wrote:In my pre-internship one-on-one last week, they told me it would be the first week in may. so far away...brownbears wrote:Anyone have any information on when we get firm placements (aside from "sometime in may")? Just found out I have a follow-up interview tomorrow! Any advice from those who had one? How long are they and what types of questions do they ask?

Less than 15 minutes for me. Same questions as the interview. Just be prepared! Good luck!OverUnderWhelmed wrote:Just found out I have a follow-up interview tomorrow! Any advice from those who had one? How long are they and what types of questions do they ask?

Re: SEO Corporate Law
i have yet committed to a school due to scholarship negotiations.. i'm not sure if sending them the enrollment deposit now (or probably next week) will do anything at this point. seems like SEO's selected a lot of this summer's class already. anybody in the same boat?

My roomie did. So far, there are less than 5 of them who have been admitted.dachillchick wrote:Did anyone who got in already get into the DC program?

Re: SEO Corporate Law
Rejected after I sent them my SLS acceptance and deposit. I think I talked too much about trying to do pro-bono work and that was a bit of a turn off for them. The letter did say they had 60 seats available so I don't think they're filling up completely yet.
It's all good, I would've loved the opportunity to study under Arthur Miller et. al but I'm moving on. I already have a job over the summer that is pretty laid back so I'm not complaining.

Re: SEO Corporate Law
any theory that it might be harder for Asians?
Me, Lex and jubileeez have all been rejected and between the 3 of us are some pretty decent T6 acceptances.

Perhaps.. maybe they already met the Asian "quota."legends159 wrote:any theory that it might be harder for Asians?

They understandably would want an ethnically balanced group..

Re: SEO Corporate Law
makes sense. I'm just wondering if there is a quota whether or not it's set lower for Asians?

Re: SEO Corporate Law
That would make sense. They're not considered URM in terms of LS admissions. In fact, I think they're overrepresented, aren't they? If that's the case, fewer Asians are probably experiencing the type of disadvantage SEO tries to target.legends159 wrote:makes sense.
