Does anyone else feel like we're at a disadvantage due to our late EIW? I feel like firms have given out plenty of offers already, I have callbacks scheduled up until September 11th, and I'm missing a ton of class.

I don't feel that way. HLS has EIW after us. So do several other schools.

I try to remember: there are a lot of things to feel anxious about during EIW but this isn't one of them since it's entirely out of my control. Each callback is an opportunity to show them you're special and it shouldn't matter who precedes or follows you. What matters is that you got a shot and you focused all of your optimistic energy on those 2.5 hours.

I don't think we're disadvantaged.

Also, HLS did not have EIW after us. They had it from Monday - Friday and we had it AFTER/concurrently from W-F.

Out of T14, the only schools who have EIW after NYU is Stanford Yale and Chicago. You can check Wachtell's website for the EIW schedule of most of the schools. It probably is a huge disadvantage since UPenn, Duke, Berkeley, UVA, etc.. have already gotten offers and began filling up summer associate spots. I assume each law firm has a limited number of spots

But employers probably rsvp slots for students from each school, so X number of NYU students for their summer class.
