Most people should be mass mailing and if you haven't heard anything despite lots of Thurs/Fri interviews you should double up on your mass mail efforts while you have some time this weekend. But we're a long way from panic time.Anonymous User wrote:How many callbacks should one expect so far? At what point should we start mass-mailing?
If something is going wrong, I would like to fix it before it's too late.

So I guess having only one callback now is a bad sign?

Re: Columbia EIP 2015
Should we call recruiting over the weekend and leave a message to schedule a callback or just wait until monday?

Re: Columbia EIP 2015
I don't see any reason to leave a voicemail now when it will get checked only on Monday, when you can just call..
For what it's worth, Ropes email specified that one should call on a weekday.

Seeking a little input... So far CBs from Willkie, Fried, KL, Cliff, and Chadbourne, all NY. Out of the 5 firms, is any one clearly superior for someone who wants to build a career in NYC?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Columbia EIP 2015
This feels quite cart before the horse, since you don't have offers or know which other firms you'll do callbacks with. My answer would probably be Wilkie, but this is not the approach you should have to your callbacks.Anonymous User wrote:Seeking a little input... How many callbacks would be considered low (ie time for mass mailing) at this point?

JBB's advice is apt, but in your case Wilkie is head and shoulders for most transactional practice areas. (Exceptions would be if you are interested in real estate or projects.)

Re: Columbia EIP 2015
Ten interviews so far, no callbacks, one rejection (OM&M), but the only firm I can pretty much confirm has sent out callbacks was Cleary.
Not sure if I should be freaking out yet, just because no sign that any of my other firms have sent out anything, save for one anonymous post each.
