3-6 by the end?

Not sure, to be honest. People were pretty quiet about how many callbacks they had during OCI and I never bothered to ask after.

How many callbacks makes someone safe enough to cancel some? I have 9 and want to cancel some.

While a legitimate question, you could have phrased that more gracefully, to say the least. Probably strike the last sentence. See my edit for a way to ask this question without making people hate you.

Can we stop all of this. Some people are doing well with callbacks. Is that really so much of a shock to your sensibilities? The hate is totally unhelpful.

I am none of the previous anons btw.

I am the "hyperpolicer". Doing well with CBs. It just rubs me the wrong way when people come into a thread and ask a "question" that seems designed more to tell everyone else how many CBs they have.

For my two cents as someone also going through the process, I would not feel comfortable cancelling any. Who knows how things with turn out, it's a huge risk. But if there's one you wouldn't accept if it were your only offer that's another story.

I don't understand how that question was designed to tell everyone how they are doing. It's anonymous. And if you're asking how many CBs are enough it's not so surprising for someone to post their number of callbacks. This is independent of the answer, which may in fact be to not cancel any until you have an offer.

I think it's risky to cancel until you have an offer. Why not just schedule them in order of your preference then cancel ones once you have a bird in the hand.

Just my thought, I don't think 9 is enough to start cancelling callbacks. Cancel when you get an offer. See the Columbia eip sheet for your offer chances
