No. Wachtell gave OCS specifications and OCS set-up interviews for the people who met it. (At least that's how I assume it went, possibly Wachtell asked for resumes from top students or something then hand-picked some to interview).Anonymous User wrote:They were at OCI??Anonymous User wrote:Wachtell CB via first-class pigeon mail.
Also, you can always mass-mail Wachtell.

With that said this approach probably saved Wachtell (and many delusional students) a whole lot of time.

More likely Wachtell would just not show up otherwise. Also, I don't actually know if Wachtell people came to NU or how the logistics worked (phone interview? meet in New York (doubtful if just for screener?).Chrstgtr wrote:So much for the lottery.Anonymous User wrote:No. Wachtell gave OCS specifications and OCS set-up interviews for the people who met it. Logistics: You show up at their New York office in sackcloth and are asked to turn water into wine. And then split the Red Sea with a Bluebook. While dissecting the Hobby Lobby decision, line by line.

On a separate note:
How advisable is it to sneak in during employer breaks to drop off a resume/ask for an interview? Should I do it during lunch time or is that worse? Can I follow them to their office and beg for an interview?

I've heard of people having some success doing this either early in the morning or at the end of the day. I know some people directly emailed the interviewers who then interviewed them over coffee during breaks. Not sure that a lunch time sneak attack is advisable, though guerrilla tactics may be your forte. Do whatcha wanna do!

Do it during their scheduled breaks. Seriously, what do you have to lose? You're not getting hired if they don't have your material so it seems like it's in your best interest to get something in front of them.Anonymous User wrote:you sound like you swallowed a bad pbs documentary... <3Anonymous User wrote:Such TTT humor shall not be tolerated in these T14 boards. ^ OP with the lunch vs. break time Q above. wanted to start a new chain without the messed up quotations.
I think I'll email them right now, since they're only on campus tomorrow and I REALLY want an interview with them.
Thanks for the response!
