Not even a status update? I had my cb not too long ago. Was told I'd hear back in max 2 wks and that they'd at least give me a status update in a weekAnonymous User wrote:No to both questions - still silence.Anonymous User wrote:Did you end up hearing back from OMM?Anonymous User wrote:Anyone heard from Sidley (LA), Perkins (LA), or O'Melveny (Newport)?

At this point, what should we make of those firms? There are 3 firms I still I haven't heard from since EIW. I'm treating them like rejection letters on the way, but might it be that they're holding back in case enough people don't accept offers?

Irony of ironies, just got a CB from Pillsbury (Palo Alto) minutes after accepting an offer. Apparently their office has been moving and so they're just now getting around to calling people FWIW.

If they wanted to keep you in reserve, they would have given you CB and then not called you. Not that you are not in reserve, but if you are, you are in the reserve of the reserves.Anonymous User wrote:

Re: NYU EIW MADNESS 2012
someone said something a few days ago about emailing firms to ask about your status--is anyone doing this?
One of the firms I am really interested has issued both CBs and dings from my interviewer, but I have not received anything. Anyone think it's worth checking in? Does it show interest/initiative, or make me look annoying?
