That's a pathetic raise, what a bunch of cheap fucks. At least it's reasonably likely they'll get topped, and have to suffer that small crumb of embarrassment.

Re: 2021 End of Year Bonuses
Maybe they are pricing in Milbank, K&E or DPW beating this, because I am pretty underwhelmed given the gangbusters year this has been.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 5:06 pmCRAVATH ANNOUNCED!!!

Re: 2021 End of Year Bonuses
% increase by class year, without factoring in special bonuses:Anonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 5:06 pmCRAVATH ANNOUNCED!!!
2021 = $15k (pro rated)
2020 = $20k
2019 = $30k
2018 = $57.5k
2017 = $75k
2016 = $90k
2015 = $105k
2014 = $115k
2020 - 33%
2019 - 20%
2018 - 15%
2017 - 15.4%
2016 - 12.5%
2015 - 16.7%
2014 - 15%
So a $5k bump for juniors and then about a 15% bump across the board elsewhere. Again, not factoring in special bonuses.
Considering the year we have had... Underwhelming and disappointing.

This is a joke and as a senior associate, and after how the last year has gone, enough of a slap in the face to start responding to the 3 or 4 daily recruiting emails for in-house roles.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 5:06 pmCRAVATH ANNOUNCED!!!

This is fuckin' pathetic. I was not expecting to be this annoyed, but I am. There are 1st years collecting 50k signing bonuses at non-KE shops. Why would anyone stay for 1/10th of that?Anonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 5:06 pmCRAVATH ANNOUNCED!!!

100%. Given (1) the 7% inflation rate this past year alone and (2) that my life was for all intents and purposes ruined this year, this is downright insulting.

Re: 2021 End of Year Bonuses
The increases for mid/seniors are actually appalling. If no one tops this the mass exodus of 2017-2015 is going to finish as literally each one of us packs up and leaves and there are none left.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
