Has anyone who interviewed with the Miami SA when she was in NYC heard back yet?

Still waiting. I'm feeling 50/50 on my end. Do you mind posting if and when you hear from Gunnar in case you get the offer and I'm left in the dust? I'll do the same.Anonymous User wrote:Has anyone who interviewed with the Miami SA when she was in NYC heard back yet?

Had my final (3rd) interview in Chicago last week. It was very casual and friendly, but plenty of hypos. Last ten minutes we just talked about hockey, because one of the interviewers started asking me about it. I'm really not sure what to make of the whole thing. Anyone else have similar experience as far as the casual vibe? Otherwise, good luck. The wait is already killing me.

It was a straight forward interview, no tricks. She pulled out a letter from the file, signed it, and made an offer at the end of the interview.

Other NYC Miami interview poster, was your interview anything like this? Because mine wasn't even close to this poster's experience haha. Lots of headline questions (Thoughts on Ferguson/Staten Island; Relationship between Prosecutors and Law Enforcement and the like) was the extent of my experience. Speaking of, I'm still crickets on my end. Any word on your end?Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Can you share a bit about the final round interview? What to expect? Hello, I do not know how to copy and paste responses on this board. I am the one who received the Queens Rejection Letter last week
Someone asked after what round: It was after the first panel interview round.
Anyone that works in Queens or has received any letters: Are there separate letters for rejection/ holding off for the next cycle? Would they say in the letter We have chosen to keep your records on file or anything like that?
Thanks

Mine wasn't even close to that experience at all either, nor was anyone else's who I know from past cycles who got hired. It seems like something really odd was going on with that person's application or that person is trolling. Either seems entirely possible.
I got lots of "why Miami?" questions, a question about my feelings on the death penalty, and one about stand your ground laws. (I did a terrible job of describing my complicated feelings about stand your ground.)

Mine was really similar! I wish they'd get back to us sooner--it's one of my first choice offices but I'm likely to receive an offer somewhere else first that I'll really have to take.Anonymous User wrote:Had my final (3rd) interview in Chicago last week. I had a final with Queens, but still waiting for a call. After the first and second round I called a few weeks after and had been told that I advanced, but that they did not know when the interviews would be scheduled. I never got a letter from them because i called so much, but offices that have sent me rejection letters have not mentioned keeping me on file.

I heard from a friend who applied last Fall, rejected, and hired this past Spring, that they do ask you if you're interested in joining their Spring class, whether you'd want them to contact you and/or keep your application on record.Anonymous User wrote:Hello, I do not know how to copy and paste responses on this board. ^ Do they mention that in the rejection letter? "Advise us if you wish for us to keep your records on file" etc? Something like that?

I'll ask, but if my memory serves me correctly, they called her and asked if she would like to be considered for the Spring class. I'll edit this post if otherwise.
