What are people doing about the bar? Signing up in the state where they are most helpful they can get an ADA job?

People who have heard from Suffolk (ma) about second rounds, any idea if they let everyone know all at once? Basically, I haven't heard yet, am I screwed?

I previously read/heard that Nassau would be making offers by April, but I just got an official update that offers will be made end of April into early May. Thought I'd share. Has anyone gotten offers from Suffolk (LI) yet? They told me end of March, so I'm waiting!

i called recently and was told there is no timetable for when they will review apps, but applications that were submitted will eventually be reviewed (so we won't be asked to resubmit)Anonymous User wrote:Has anyone heard anything from Brooklyn either than rumors?

Re: District Attorneys' Offices 2014
Every once in a while I check in to these forums - usually its when I work myself into a panic that I've effed up my prospects at securing employment. Anyway, I'm currently waiting to hear back from two DA offices in New York, one of which I worked at during my 2L summer. The attorneys there liked me, I would up playing softball with them, and I am working there now in an externship. Sounds like I have a good in but my grades are awful. I had a last round interview there maybe four weeks ago, and they had narrowed the pool down to 30. My Bureau Chief told me as recently as last week to expect to hear back from them in MAY...like really? Really??
Anyway, that's my sob story. Just wanted to anonymously let out some fear/frustration/nerves while also letting you guys know it could be as late as May, depending on where you applied. I sincerely mean to wish you all the best of luck, even if we are competing for the same job.

Re: District Attorneys' Offices 2014
I called early last week and the HR rep said: all I can tell you is keep checking the website, we are in the process of updating it. I asked if I would need to update my application, since my resume is really outdated by now (applied in September) and she said: you'll have to check the website.Anonymous User wrote:Does anybody know whats going on with Kings County DA Office?
So, no. I don't think anyone really knows.

Maybe if I stare at my phone for long enough, it will ring and offer me a job.

Movement from Nassau County? It is April now, so theoretically some (additional?) offers should be extended.

Any offers or rejections come out of Cook County? Heard of some 4th round interviews, but no offers or rejections.
