Got Kasowitz and Proskauer dings via e-mail. Kasowitz letter dated August 3, 2010. Which is funny because I didn't even have a scheduled interview... they pulled me off the list the night before OCI :lol:.

ETA: Shearman also ding'd me, so obviously they dinged some unlikeable people too :) :lol:.

Jenner ding too, thought it was one of my best interviews, top 10% with Chicago ties.

You're not the first to report this. Jenner's interviewers were absolutely great. Very easy to chat it up with. But I have a feeling they only extended a couple CBs, if any. I genuinely think Shearman came to OCI with plans to hire no one, given the interviewer they sent and the dings they've handed out. Which is strange, considering that firms far superior to them sent squads of attorneys out here and extended 10-30 CBs (e.g., S&C, Weil, Skadden).

I know someone who got a Shearman CB.

Interesting. What kind of stats? I know at least two top 5% LR people with CBs from basically all the V10s that came to OCI who were both virtually ignored in the Shearman interview from the outset and received dings today.

Not a LR person and not me (I was also pretty much ignored). But that may have been a function of those of us that had JD vs. the other interviewer.

Yeah, although I've heard it said that YP doesn't exist at the employment level, after Shearman I tend to disagree.
