I didn't get one. Although I'd be shocked if I received anything other than a rejection now.

After Paul Weiss gives an offer, do they send anything by snail mail? So far I have only gotten stuff through email.

Does anyone know if the Resume Book Program is useful? I'm mainly applying again to firms that dinged me at EIP so it seems like a bit of a waste of time.

Not sure why you would expect a different result this time. They've already rejected you buddy

Better approach is probably to directly email an app to the hiring partner for every office that you didn't interview with

It is no secret that the FCHS's finances are down; probably best reflected in the fact that a large percentage of this year's summer associate class was no offered.
Did you work there this summer? What % were no-offered? Where did you get this info? Please PM if you don't want to post, thanks!

Not OP, but going to point out that you would have to post non-anonymously to get a PM.

Because I think this is probably most helpful for future classes:

30+ interviews/11 cbs/8 cbs accepted/6 offers/2 withdrawn pre decision 3 Hs/7 Ps strong interviewer, resume. None of this was NYC.

We're pretty similar. Also 3 H's/7 P's here. 30 interviews/16 cbs/7 cbs attended (4 others were accepted, but cancelled before attending)/3 offers/1 ding/withdrew from the other 3 before a decision was made. Also a strong interviewer. Unique resume. None of this was NY or DC.

Yet another similar candidate. 3H/7P. 30 interviews, 12 cbs, 6 cbs attended, 3 offers, 3 dings. Fairly strong interviewer, pretty weak resume (relative to others at HLS). Accepted offer at very selective firm (top 25 of vault's most selective).

30 interviews/16 CBS/ 11 accepted/ 10 offers (waiting on 1)

Grades were possibly below or around median but had solid reasons for my interest, relevant WE. Most of my interviews and offers were for D.C. Note to future classes: Grades are not the biggest factor IMO. People seemed far more interested in how strong the rest of your resume is and your fit with the work.

Can you guys say what markets you targeted? I imagine the CB/offer numbers vary dramatically by market

2 DS/4 H/4 P. 4 yrs work experience - moderately interesting, but not prestigious. Project in interviews as mature, but not super extroverted.

Targeting SF/SV and NY (latter as backup).

NY results: 7 interviews, 5 cbs, 4 accepted, 3 offers (V10 range).

SF/SV: 20 interviews, 11 cbs, 8 accepted, 5 offers (vault is meaningless here, but several of the top places besides KVN).

6H/1DS/3P. One year of very meh WE. Probably bottom quartile of interviewing ability.

NYC: 7 screener, 5 CB, 4 offers (all V10)

DC: 23 screeners, 3 CB, 2 offers

Bottom line: DC is a tough nut to crack, and grades only get you so far.

Posting mine to slow the optimism for future interviewers that some of the above numbers show.

3 H's, good/unique WE/resume (but would appear "PI-focused"), strong ties, thought most of my interviews/CBs went really well.

LA/OC
30+ screeners
4 CBs
4 attended
1 offer

Luckily the one offer was a perfect fit.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
