Ties help a lot! Also, the classes are smaller and the firms seem to be a bit more selective so grades and LR are obviously helping people quite a bit. That being said, I don't have amazing grades and am not on LR and still did just fine.
Also, mass mailing has helped more than a few people in this area. And finally, do regionals. Penn sets you up with multiple interviews and you don't have to bid on them so it's a pretty sweet deal.

For those of you who have had callbacks in NY and DC and basically anywhere not in Philly, how did you get reimbursed for your expenses? NALP Form? How do we find out who at the firms to send those to?

DC firms gave me NALP form. Safest bet is just to send in receipts with nalp form.Anonymous User wrote:For those of you who have had callbacks in NY and DC and basically anywhere not in Philly, how did you get reimbursed for your expenses? Look at the recruiting part of each firm's website. They usually have a section re: reimbursement that will say who to mail the NALP form to.Anonymous User wrote:For those of you who have had callbacks in NY and DC and basically anywhere not in Philly, how did you get reimbursed for your expenses?
