1) depends on circumstances. Airport to hotel? Sure. Touristy stuff? Don't.

2) make sure you have a receipt

What about from a Cambridge home to a Boston office? No other hotel or flight costs involved.

Definitely expense this, as they will 100% cover it. Enjoy the free ubering to/from offices/airports while it lasts, y'all.

If my top choice couldn't schedule me until the 29th, should I be worried? Is that too late?

i mean, you can't really do anything about it at this point. maybe ask if they'll let you know if a slot gets freed up?

if there's a callback dinner (not attached to the actual callback), do i just show up at the restaurant at the scheduled time and ask for the firm's reservation? i imagine it'd be kinda awkward

I remember someone in this thread talked about receiving an email cb w/o the cb and the same happened to me today too. Should I just wait for the cb or tell them I haven't received the cb but am willing to schedule the next interview? Thanks!

I don't think so. A lot of firms are booked up until that week, but I think it's mostly due to HLS EIP being later than most of the other T14s.

Just got an email from Skadden with an Applicant Survey (government-mandated gender, race, etc. info request), but haven't received a CB from them yet (NY office). Anyone else get this? Is it a good sign?

Also got this email. Unfortunately I doubt it's a good sign because many firms send these automatically when you're in their system regardless of if they have any intention of contacting you again.
