So it's probably more likely that these firms as a whole just have not gotten their dings out yet.

I had a cb yesterday where i was totally blindsighted by a question the hiring partner asked me. Awkward pause, i bsed an answer on the spot, etc. Is it a terrible idea to email him and say that I'd given his question more thought or will that just make me look desperate?

Behavioral question - "tell me something that's hard for you". After thinking for a second, I said something that I felt that I had improved on. He said "nice pivot, tell me something that is still hard for you." Then I had to bs an entire new answer. It was brutal. (and the hiring partner is one of 3 members of the hiring committee)Anonymous User wrote:What was the question?Anonymous User wrote:I had a cb yesterday where i was totally blindsighted by a question the hiring partner asked me. Re: NYU EIW Madness 2015
My understanding from reading past TLS posts is that your callback interviewers will generally submit their evaluations of you as soon as the interview is done, especially if you're interviewing with NY office. At this point it's more of a risk than a reward. Don't do it.Anonymous User wrote:I had a cb yesterday where i was totally blindsighted by a question the hiring partner asked me. Hi guys, does anyone know what the policy is on using our writing competition entry as a writing sample? I have a firm asking for multiple writing samples.
