I say this in respect to last year, for the guy who said he had "figured out law school" as a 1L in spring; which, after all, was the highlight for me.jbagelboy wrote:Agree its certainly useless, I didn't go last year and I'm thousands of miles away now, but I wouldn't be so quick to judge the students who participate, usually they are roped in by OCS and don't actually volunteer themselvesbobr wrote:No need to go if it would stress you out. All shit you would think/know of, and it's just a chance to listen to a few 3Ls who are arrogant enough to think they have something unique to impart.Anonymous User wrote:whats the deal with this panel thing tomorrow? is it required/worth going to? I still dont understand how eip works so sort of feel like i should figure things out, but spending several hours listening to 'insight' like "it is advisable not to verbally attack your interviewer!! try to make eye contact and maybe even consider being interesting!" and getting stressed out by classmates sounds like a special kind of hell.

For firms that request cover letters to be brought to the screener, who should we address the cover letter to? The interviewer(s) listed on symplicity?

Hi CLS students! I'm a 2012 SLS alum and just want to send a friendly reminder that you can put this info into http://www.biglawrefuge.com. If you haven't heard of it yet, it's a platform for sharing anonymous job statistics with your classmates. Help your fellow classmates out and encourage others to share! You can also add interview with your job applications (like on campus interview, callback, etc), so you can share that information as well.
Good luck everyone on OCI and congrats to those with callbacks/cb dinners.

Re: Columbia EIP 2015
EIP ended less than two hours. For your sake and your classmates' sake, do not stress over when callback calls go out. As has been reported all over TLS, there is not necessarily a rhyme or reason for when some people get CBs. It depends on individual interviewers, and there's no point in rushing to know whether others have received one or not. You're either going to receive it or you wont. Nothing you can do about it now, and no point in stalking TLS for reports of CBs.Anonymous User wrote:anyone hear about callbacks yet?

not that it's super necessary to encourage everyone's neuroticism in the first place.

EIP 2014's 26th page was on July 10th. Your second day was on page 41. Y'all cornered the market on neuroses (though you were much more efficient).jbagelboy wrote:you guys evidently suck at this CB reporting thing.Anonymous User wrote:Wow really lolAnonymous User wrote:Don't remember the interviewer for DPW. To be fair, most of that difference in neurotic posting last year was me.John_Luther1989 wrote:EIP 2014's 26th page was on July 10th. Your second day was on page 41. Having seen some of you in the hospitality suites, it doesn't look like you guys are any less neurotic. You just post less.

I feel tempted to just ignore this page but I can't help it. Can't we all just stop posting for a bit?
