Email Dave, let him know. I'd also call or email Cliff as he's actually really helpful in situations like this. He also responds at odd hours. I don't know that he can help but the idea that you'll be penalized because of something out of your control is bullshit on many levels.
From the OCI Procedures and Guidelines pdf:
If prior to a scheduled interview, but after the interview drop deadline, a personal emergency or other
extraordinary unforeseen circumstances will prohibit you from attending the interview, you must BOTH
IMMEDIATELY:
(a) Call the Career Center’s front desk at (312) 503-3498. If you are calling after hours and/or nobody
answers, leave a message explaining your situation so that your interview slot can be filled by another
student; and
(b) Email the Assistant Dean

Don't wanna be a dick, I'm sorry that you are missing interviews, but mind letting us know what interviews you are canceling? If they are going to open those slots up I may want to show up for the morning sign ups.
