They will come via both. You will likely be receiving snail mail rejects through October.

The interviewer from GT said he was meeting with a committee on Monday to talk about the evaluations then send everything off to the respective offices, so it may be awhile

Give it a while. It's not time to start worrying quite yet.

OP here. My biggest worry is not having heard from some NYC firms that I thought went well. There has been a lot of talk already on here about "tiered" callbacks - what's the consensus? Could I be on the waiting list or something for some of these firms? Or is my ding just a sure thing waiting to happen.

Same here. Thought I made good connections with some interviewers at firms with median below my GPA. otoh, Michigan folks are generally great people, and most probably interviewed well. It doesn't help that the new curve introduces some confusion as to how informative the previous cutoffs are.

I think last year's thread came to the position that tiered CBs don't really exist.

Someone post one of these passwords. Or just make the password something more obvious.

I think last year's thread came to the position that tiered CBs don't really exist.
Yeah, for the most part I'd agree. Having gone thru OCI and spoken with lots of my friends about it, I don't think tiered (in the sense that there is a waiting list) callbacks are at the very least a common thing. Maybe a firm or two out there kind of does that but I don't think it's the norm.

That being said weird things can happen and a CB may come the day after others for that office went out (because it is a different interviewer that had stuff to do). Also not all firms get their CBs done the very next day or same day. There are a few out there that claim to use a committee and can take a week or so. That's what the guy from DLA Piper told me anyways, who knows if it's true.

Finally how well you think an interview went can be a poor proxy for CBs. Some of my bad interviews became CBs and some of my great ones did not.

My nerves over CBs are getting to me and I so badly wish that OCP was helpful. Why must they be so incompetent? :(

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
