just relax. i agree that the silence is unbearable, but, based on last year's thread, it is likely that a lot of firms will be making contact throughout this week. the fact that you haven't heard anything yet doesn't mean that much.Anonymous User wrote:I don't fucking get the amount of silence I'm getting. Re: Georgetown EIW 2014
OP was unnecessarily harsh, but your response is irritating. Making top whatever % at a school surrounded by people who barely broke 160 (if even that) on the LSAT, and failed academically throughout their entire lives, is not comparable to median at any T14; and the fact is that transfer students with technical backgrounds likely are siphoning off SOME (albeit a small proportion) jobs from GULC IP students, since transfers can leverage their technical skills in addition to Latin honors at their awful 1L school to prove that they can "work hard," when the more likely truth is that they were the only people of even average intelligence at their old schools.Anonymous User wrote:Don't know what could possibly be your problem.Anonymous User wrote:I don't fucking get the amount of silence I'm getting. Probably has to do with our intellectual aptitude for the study of something more profound than Native American pottery. That, and we generally murder you luddites on the LSAT.Anonymous User wrote:IP people are the worst. They get lower grades but more cbs and screeners

IP or not, continue mailing firms until you have an offer. Don't rely on EIW. So long as you are at least medianish, you will almost assuredly get a few CBs that way. If you are IP, then lower, significantly sub-median GPAs may also suffice (for PROSECUTION positions, that is).Anonymous User wrote:you sure? top third 0 cb so far. desperate...Anonymous User wrote:IP people are the worst. Any thoughts on whether it is better to set up callbacks that include lunch versus those that don't, earlier versus later interview times, etc.?

It's better to set up callbacks that don't require lunch because doing so shows the firm that you're abstemious and cognizant of its limited resources. I'd say doing so increases your chances of an offer by 45.65%.Anonymous User wrote:Any thoughts on whether it is better to set up callbacks that include lunch versus those that don't, earlier versus later interview times, etc.?
