Not sure if anyone in this thread applied for staff attorney clerkships, but the 7th Circuit is giving interview offers via email.

Congrats! I applied by the early-offer deadline and heard nada, so I don't expect to hear from them now.

Along similar lines, 3d Cir. nominee and DNJ Magistrate Judge Shwartz has called - she's not on OSCAR but apparently following the plan.

If you have an interview in a place where you live, is it still appropriate to call chambers and ask for parlay interviews?

Career Services and former/current clerks have said not to do this, but I still struggle to see how this can hurt more than not getting an interview in the first place.

Specifically, I don't think we've heard from any calls from Lee, O'Grady, Trenga in NDVA, or from Howell, Jackson, and Lamberth in DDC. Anyone changes?

I'm pretty sure that nobody's reported calls from O'Grady or Lamberth, because I've had my eye out for them.

Cecchi hires in irregular cycles and is likely holding her clerks over.
Wigenton only hires clerks with prior law firm experience.
Hayden's calls have gone out.

Sitting down to read for Administrative Law this evening, I find assigned an opinion by Judge Randolph of the D.C. Circuit, the only remaining D.C. Circuit Judge on the hope list.

What up flyover peeps? Any news in IL, IN, MO, KY, MI, MN, OH, IA, WI, OK, KA?

I hope that the low response rate to this post is a good indication that the non-Chicago flyover markets haven't done calls yet.

I'm sure most of the Chicago judges have called, but outside of Chicago, who do we know of? Barker, Springmann, anyone else?

FWIW, Davis of MN is filled on Oscar, and I think someone said that Magnuson had called or had hired or wasn't hiring or something else along those lines.
