anyone know why some firms take forever to reject? (ex: seems like Seward and Kissel has come up a bunch). also have a lot of people not heard from Dechert or Milbank still? I keep seeing them come up? Did they just make a few calls to like their favs and the rest are still to come or are they just taking forever to reject? Just wondering since those firms names have been coming up on here a bunch + the fact that last year both extended a ton of callbacks...

Yea, for seward & kissel especially since I have heard of NO rejections. I don't have a problem waiting if I know I'm in between but so far it seems that no one has even been rejected.

I feel like the ones who wait a long time may actually be doing cbs in small #s. Perhaps if they don't find anyone suitable, they move on the the next batch. When they finalize their class, they probably send out the rejection letters only then.
It makes a lot of sense, especially if the SA class size is very small.

has anyone actually received a ding from milbank, bryan cave or curtis mallet? also, any work from holland and knight for kaye scholer (CS)

And has anyone gotten or heard of a cb from dechert with RK as the interviewer ?

This waiting is really getting to me, a week or two after first rounds and I have 1 cb and 2 rejections out of like 24 firms...

In the same boat... less interviews. Although if you got 24 I'm assuming your rank is quite high?

Rank is OK, but it was like only half pre-scheduled through OCI, others from a combination of talking to interviewers and discussions with firms outside of OCI. IP candidate as well which helped get a few extras. I'll probably out myself if I say too much more :)

How many callbacks are people averaging? I'm top quarter/secondary and have three. Is that unusual? Did I dun goof?
