It seems like the V10s or so move really really fast but other NY firms take at least a couple of days between CB and offer. I felt really good about this one (and felt like I had great "fit") too so I'd be disappointed if I missed out on this firm.
It varies widely, and I think the only way to know about the timing for a particular firm is to ask at the callback stage. Some get back to you in a day or two. One of my CB interviewers said he would probably get back to me within a week, even if only to let me know there hasn't been any movement on the hiring front yet. At another CB, I was told that they were wrapping up interviews about a week after I had mine, at which point they should let everybody know "within a couple weeks." So who knows. A week feels like a long time, but it's certainly not a death knell in all circumstances.

Curious about Morgan Lewis and dechert NY, haven't heard from them so I'm assuming a rejection letter is on the way, but did anyone that got cb's at either place hear back long after their screener?

There seem to be a lot of people who haven't heard back from a lot of firms. I think the hiring process is proceeding slower than usual this year. No news on Morgan Lewis or Dechert NY -- I'm still waiting on the latter, too.

I cancelled a Dechert callback last night. Planning to cancel Morgan Lewis and Proskauer tomorrow. Hopefully that opens up a CB or two for some of you.
