Anyone know what this "Fantastic Friday" thing at Skadden is? I'd prefer to sign up for a callback earlier in the week, but are there benefits to doing it on Friday?

for those who have heard from cadwalader, did you get the email from legal recruiting with the info on setting up a callback? i haven't gotten it yet, but apparently some law firm emails haven't been making it thru to my inbox, so i just wanted to see if other people got it. thanks!

The Skadden recruiting committee will meet Friday or Saturday to make decisions, so there will be less of a wait if you come in Friday. If you go earlier in the week or the next week, you have a longer wait. They know law students are neurotic enough to have an active forum like this, so its just a courtesy thing. They also may have more interviewers available if they are planning on inviting people to choose taht day.
