Depends, do you see the glass as half full or as a potential death-bringing projectile?

Your mailman's probably slow.

(on a side note, rejections should really all be done by email)

You should be busting your ass to find a job outside of EIW / big firms. Likely you are going to be rejected. Small chance you get a callback, but don't count on it.

OP here. The rejections I'm referring to were all via e-mail, hence my confusion. If it were a snail mail issue, I'd be completely expecting a rejection.

Luckily I've gotten a few callbacks from other firms, but I'm still confused about the non-response from the others.

Nothing beats the 202 voicemail that turned out to be "Alert alert alert."

Haha my roommate and I haven't been getting any snail mail (from anyone) in a while, so we joked that somewhere, our rejection letters were all sitting in a pile.

We complained to the post office.

We got our pile of letters.

The End.

This is kind of funny, in a tragic sort of way. What dings were there? I've only gotten a letter ding from Skadden.

I know the general rationale is the longer you wait, the less likely you will get good news (i.e. get a call back). But I haven't heard from close to ten firms, I'm sure there are some rejects in the mail, but I have to believe that a lot of firms are still making cb decisions.

Why? Because of logic/evidence or because of emotion/disappointment?

Definitely a mix between logic and disappointment. I expect a lot of cb calls tomorrow and Friday. I think this is the last rush.

From what I can tell, there are a bunch of firms/offices that no one has heard from. Unless they were really unimpressed with the GULC candidates as a whole, someone is going to get a callback.

If a 3L hears from W&C, or knows anything about whether 3L callbacking is a totally different timeframe, I'd be interested.
