I mean people will have most of their offers by this point so they, in turn, should start declining offers. I'm in the tough place where I just need some people to start declining offers. I'm in limbo at some top shops in LA (2 weeks at GDC) and want to be off the damn waitlist.

What do people think about Jeffer? Work seems cool but not sure it's worth the drop to $145k

Looks like they have 31 attorneys in their LA office, so it shouldn't be too surprising. I'd expect a place that size to hire 2-3 summers at most.

At OCI the partner said they were taking 3. Interesting.

I'm the guy above who got the email. I was told the same during my cb.

They told me after bonuses it's on par with market rate and often exceeds it. I think it's a good place if you want to get good experience and try a lot of things. I personally didn't feel like I was a good fit there culture wise.

Interesting. Do you mind sharing a little more about the culture? I'm hesitant to take the CB but maybe it'd be a good fit.

Did you have an offer or is this just post-CB? Any reason in particular why you withdrew from Holland & Knight?

Had an offer. Accepted elsewhere, and wanted to withdraw to hopefully give someone else an offer. Loved the office/people/vibe, but at the end of the day, firm name recognition (exit options) and market salary drove my decision to accept elsewhere.

Just for fun: anybody know what's going on with Bryan cave? I saw there were callbacks extended way back when but I haven't heard since the screener first day oci 8/4. Is there even a glimmer of hope for a cb or are they just so gosh darn professional as to keep people in the dark?

Do you mind saying where you accepted an offer and if you have withdrawn or are planning to withdraw from any other firms? Sorry to pry, I'm just waiting to hear back from a bunch of firms and am hoping I still have a shot!

How are exit options from Manatt? Also, anybody know why they don't pay market?

Would rather not say where I have accepted, as it may out me (I am the only person at my school who got an offer from this firm), but it's a V20 LA satellite office. I had already withdrawn from Manatt, White & Case, Arnold & Porter, and Alston & Bird, all with offers.

As of last week, their OC office had 2 offers outstanding/4 people on standby.
I would imagine that their SM office is in a similar situation.

48 hours. But I know other people with offers that took up to 2 weeks.

Have you heard of anyone accepting their offers?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
