I'm too lazy to dig it up, but somewhere in this forum there's a whole thread of people recounting stories of stronger positive statements than that leading to a ding.

It's awesome that your interview went well, but I wouldn't read too much into what the firm said. It could mean so many things, the interviewer could have been tired or on autopilot. Take a deep breath and wait till you know for sure.
No lie, I once had a partner I interviewed with have a conversation go as follows:

Partner: "Well, when you're making your final decision, be in touch if you're doubting coming to this firm."
Me: "Well, if I'm fortunate enough to receive an offer here I'll keep that in mind."
Partner: "Oh, I'm quite confident you'll receive an offer. Nothing to worry about on that front."

On way to elevator, the paralegal accompanying me: "You'll hear from us by tomorrow latest."

Three weeks of silence later: ding.

So glad I checked this thread today... I was kinda freaking out after my Wilson interview ended way early, good to know it wasn't because I somehow bombed spectacularly without realizing it.
