From what I gather, really well. Lots of people beating the "only top 15% get NYC" rhetoric or "top 10% + house in Texas for Texas biglaw" rhetoric.

how low in the class has been able to get NYC? anyone closer to top 25% or even below? i realize that's probably splitting hairs over this anecdotal evidence but any glimmer of hope is encouraging at this point, no?PeanutsNJam wrote:From what I gather, really well. Yes - I am barely top 25% and got NYC.Anonymous User wrote:how low in the class has been able to get NYC? anyone closer to top 25% or even below? i realize that's probably splitting hairs over this anecdotal evidence but any glimmer of hope is encouraging at this point, no?PeanutsNJam wrote:From what I gather, really well. ETA: I know of others near my class rank and below in the same position.

Re: WUSTL EIW + Off Campus Programs (2016)
So I called recruitment yesterday and my offer for NYC Praskuer is on hold (I was supposed to hear by Tuesday about an offer). Apparently, they currently have too many outstanding offers. Anyone else heard of this or know what the chances are for an offer at this point? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Are you saying that you were given an offer, and told the offer is now on hold or you don't have an offer yet because there are too many outstanding offers?WUSTLLAW2018 wrote:So I called recruitment yesterday and my offer for NYC Praskuer is on hold (I was supposed to hear by Tuesday about an offer). Sorry, that wasn't clear. I meant the later. I don't have an offer yet because there are too many offers out for them to feel like they can give me one. Kind of like a wait list thing.

I think the deadlines for lots of people to accept offers are around mid September. WL is certainly much better than a rejection. Good luck!WUSTLLAW2018 wrote:Sorry, that wasn't clear. Re: WUSTL EIW + Off Campus Programs (2016)
it is definitely encouraging to see good news in this thread. this might be overkill, but if someone has some extra time/is totally neurotic like me, a few other schools' OCI threads have a running list of firms from on campus interviews that have extended CBs/offers/dings. There's a lot of helpful information in this thread but might make sense to try and aggregate it (as well as include other data points from friends, etc. that are not reflected in this thread).

I've been slacking. JD/MBA + travel has crushed me. Tomorrow, if I have the time, I'll try to put a list together.
