Interviewed at Dallas baker botts. Saw the list of interviewees... Loooong list. Anyone hear back yet?

Wouldn't shock me if they are waiting to interview the long list of UT folks in late January before making decisions.

I heard no decisions would be made before grades, so it'll be a while.

On the matter of candidate pool size, how many do you figure? My super-scientific method rendered an estimate of about 20.

I tried to schedule a CB today, and the recruitment said they would not be in office.

I did BB Dallas and there were easily 15 or 20 other people there on that one day alone, and I was offered a choice between 3 or 4 different days at the beginning.

Also was told no decisions until grades were out.

And this doesn't include the UT people or any other Texas schools (imagine they interview SMU people for this). But I wasn't told anything about grades. Anyone else hear that?

In applying to Diversity Programs for 1L Summer, should the essay be in the same vein as our personal statements, a diversity statement, or something completely different?

I structured mine in the same way as a cover letter.

"all applications must include [law school transcripts]"

and the deadline is much later than the date I'm supposed to get my fall semester grades back? presumably, there would be no reason for me to send in my application early w/out grades other than getting it in earlier

I'd like to share a stress dream I had. I was in my callback with two partners getting mostly softball questions, and then they brought in a disgruntled client who was upset about the amount of hours they were being billed. The partners just looked at me expectantly, nodding towards the client like I was supposed to address the situation. Would be a hell of a way to interview people.

So I've received an interview request for a judicial internship, but I've also received and scheduled a couple interview requests with a couple law firms. What should I do? I haven't gotten back to scheduling the judicial internship interview yet
