Got the Trustee email about locations. Reads like it only went to first round folks, but could be wrong.

It's SO painful to be a finalist and not (yet) receiving an offer ... just needed to vent

I hear ye, which component?

And as someone reminded me earlier, better to be in our position than to not be a finalist at all. No matter what's going with a particular component, if you're a finalist, you at least have a shot.

Ditto. This week has been mentally exhausting, and it is unclear how much longer we all might be waiting.

Agreed. I am positive that I am an alternate, as I know that someone has received an offer for my component with only one spot, but not yet accepted.

First round only. I asked in my response to the placement email.

Has anyone from Tax Civil received an offer yet? I received my finalist designation earlier this afternoon. Wasn't sure if they started making calls yet.

Did you find the spreadsheet? Says two Tax-Civ people have received offers.

It has been shockingly quiet today. Going into the weekend with this hanging overhead...ugh.

Bump. I see a second person said their references were checked.

Hey, I'm new to this forum. Just figured I'd join in the discussion --- I'm also a finalist in the ATR DC office. My finalist designation appeared after the last round of notifications went out on Monday. No phone call or offer yet --- but as far as I can tell by reading the posts on here, that may mean I'm an alternate, or it may not. Best of luck to everyone who, like me, is still waiting for a definite answer.

I meant the DO.J Honors spreadsheet we created to keep track of finalists and offers. look back a few pages for it.I believe you would make Non-offered finalist number 6 for ATR.

That... sounds like too many for us all to be alternates.

Yeah, I agree. 6 alternates for 11 spots doesn't make much sense. And that's assuming everyone's wandered onto TLS. There's also only been two offers we know of, compared to say Tax, which had 4 people report offers from 12 spots. Seems like it has to be the case that a good number of the sections have not decided and are sorting us out and maybe deciding who to offer. Still an open question if any alternates were selected or if they selected just as many finalists as spots. They did it the latter way last year. I expect some clarity early next week.

I'm an OCIJ person. Not sure if all of them were checked, but one received an email.

I'm an EOIR/OCIJ finalist and I just heard from one of my references that she was contacted.
