I still only heard from 13 out of 29 ...

Heard back from 8 out of 27 places, although a few others gave CBs to others so I am expecting rejections soon.

Is there a selection bias in this forum/thread for people who are having a tougher time at EIW, or are firms extending fewer CBs this year? From what I remember, last year's thread was a lot more good news by this point.

kinda gave up hope on the rest of my screeners from NY calling

I think it's quite early to give up hope about NY CBs. Some firms haven't made decisions yet and others have a second round of CBs.

Any idea which firms in NY still haven't made decisions/extended callbacks. I'm waiting on a couple where I haven't heard of people getting callbacks or rejections yet. I don't know if that really means they haven't sent out CBs yet or people just aren't posting/speaking about them...

I have done quite well so far, but really eager to here back from a bunch of places. BC EIW u get so many intevriews you can get 10+ CB and still be asking constantly if anyone heard form XYZ firm

The people there are super nice, and though I was there for close to three hours, I don't think I spent more than twenty minutes talking about stuff on my resume. Just try and have normal conversations and connect with your interviewers, and you'll be fine. I got the sense that they cared far more about my personality than my qualifications--I guess the screener provides that cut.
