Are there any firms so far that have not matched for SAs? I know there are some that didn't announce either way--but I'm not sure any have affirmatively said "no" to summer match. MLB summer here...guess i'll find out in a few weeks.

There's at least one lower PPP firm that is doing this as a office by office decision by the partners in that office where the raises won't kick in until after the summers are gone so yes some firms will not match summers.

From what I understand, MLB has issues with putting things in writing, and a lot (all?) of their firm announcements are made via VM. Inside sources have credited this to their labor&employment practice's reluctance to leave paper trails.

Incoming JD associate here. Constantly refreshing Above the Law is starting to interfere with my bar prep...

However, I believe firm-wide summer orientation is happening tomorrow in D.C. I could see Brogan waiting to make the announcement live to all the summers. But that could be wishful thinking on my part. Either way, I expect management will talk about comp, so that should shed some light on what is going on. Fingers crossed.

Yeah. They know the basic info leaks but they get annoyed by emails being posted on Above the Law so they just don't send them. They also talk a bit though so it's a chatty message. They do it for other things too when they don't want to email you an essay.
