Saw that bjesq got a job. Way to persevere and overcome.
I can't adequately express how happy I am for you.
So much happiness.

By the way, I expect all of you kids to help out next year's class when they'll have their own bar exam misery thread. Clay Walker Chain of Love style. Don't disappoint me.
But again, congratulations, bjesq.

Pretzel, you definitely are next in line, I can feel it. I think you have had a bit of bad luck and that is bound to turn around at some point. Really pulling for you.Pretzel_Logic wrote:Oh God, I hope so.Jessuf wrote:I hope this marks the start of a winning streak for Valers.

Awesome dude! How did you find out about the job? I am thinking about applying for consulting stuff, but I think I missed the boat after early Fall passed.

Re: The Vale of Tears (3L Job Hunting) (No advice for 0/1/2Ls)
If one applies for a job that doesn't specify the organization, and then a few days later sees a posting that is fairly similar - would you guys apply, or would you assume it's the same posting and that you would look stupid for applying twice? To be specific, it was for a Counsel position for a Senator on the Judiciary Committee. I have a hard time believing two Senators would have that opening in the same few weeks. But, the job would be the greatest thing ever for me, so I don't want to miss out on an opportunity in not applying.

My first instinct was to say you should apply for both... But then I was like, what if they think "this guy doesn't want us, he'll take any senator!" Hmmm. Is there any way to contact them and figure out if its the same people?snowpeach06 wrote:If one applies for a job that doesn't specify the organization, and then a few days later sees a posting that is fairly similar - would you guys apply, or would you assume it's the same posting and that you would look stupid for applying twice? Nope. The e-mail address to send in applications is super generic. Like Senatejob@gmail or something like that.spleenworship wrote:My first instinct was to say you should apply for both... Re: The Vale of Tears (3L Job Hunting) (No advice for 0/1/2Ls)
Hi I am wondering if anyone knows what positions JDs should be applying for when they apply for positions at big 4 firms(other than tax)? There seems to be a plethora of positions shown on their websites.
Also, is it frowned upon if you apply for more than one position in the same big 4 firm?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
