Do people know how long V&E normally takes to send their offer letters? I got a phone call on Wednesday but still haven't gotten anything in the mail or by email.

K&E Houston is just behind schedule, a bit, I think- between the lateral recruiting, the booming business, and a bigger wave of 2L applicants and interviews than expected, I think 2L recruiting is being processed and 3L recruiting will be finalized afterwards.

Thompson Coe Dallas told me earlier this week after my CB that they would be making decisions within the next two weeksAnonymous User wrote:Any movement the past couple of days? I can't help but F5 this thread all day.
Specifically waiting to hear back post-CB from Porter Hedges, Gardere (Houston/Dallas), Hunton & Williams (Dallas), and Thompson Coe (Dallas).

Does anyone have any info on what King & Spalding Houston is paying? I see on NALP their Houston office starts at $160K but are they on a compressed Texas scale or closer to NY Lockstep?

Dammit Beck Redden I need to know. Anyone heard of any offers? Or have any idea how many they call back for their ~4 spots?

I am waiting on Beck Redden as well. I am tempted to email the recruiter as they said they would get back to us this week. I interviewed late last week. I know of 3 others from UT that interviewed there as well.

Thanks for the info. Seems like a few of us waiting on some movement. Then again considering how many people were at the first CB day and them only having like 7 summers, could be a lot of us!Anonymous User wrote:I emailed PH about some NALP reimbursement crap that I needed to figure out today and I asked where they were at with offers. I was late last week as well and they told me the same thing. AFAIK I'm the only one interviewing from my school.Anonymous User wrote:I am waiting on Beck Redden as well. Yeah, I was surprised by the number at PH's CB day. Around 15 if I remember correctly, and I think there were a total of 3 CB days. Seems to indicate their CB-->offer rate is going to be pretty low. Also, a poster a couple pages back mentioned he knew someone got a PH offer on Tuesday (9/2). I hate this process.Anonymous User wrote:Thanks for the info. Has anyone received offers from Haynes & Boone Houston after CB? I had my CB on one of their first days and I haven't heard anything since.

I'm under the impression that offers have been given already. They only have 1-3 summers, it's highly likely those with offers just aren't posting/talking about it.

Currently have B&G, AK, V&E, and BB. All Houston. Any thoughts for someone who is unsure on litigation v. corporate work long-term? Any that have better exit options/partnership chances? (BG/AK is second-half only; V&E/BB is first-half only) Thanks!
