Re: Heard Back For 1L SA Position
How do you guys handle interviewing at multiple offices of the same firm? Let's say I'm interviewing at A and B. Both are located in the same general area where I have strong ties. I might prefer being at A than B. Do they share notes? Should I tell both of them that they are my top choice in terms of location? Or couch my language? Curious to hear what people think.

Thanks, I'd rather not say specifically. I'll say not Seattle and not Texas (since a lot of people seem to be asking about Texas)Anonymous User wrote:Congrats, what office of K&L?Anonymous User wrote:Offer from K&L Gates. Interview invite for Bracewell Giuliani.

Since when were they even accepting 1L's? Was it a school-specific thing? I didn't see anything online about it.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone hear from Nutter in Boston?

Had a screener at a non-NYC office and wondering what time frame I'm looking at in terms of callbacks. I hear Orrick's relatively slow

I have an offer from one firm but outstanding callbacks with three others, should I call or email to let them know?

If you're going with that offer it'd be great if you could let them know so maybe the rest of us will be consideredAnonymous User wrote:I have an offer from one firm but outstanding callbacks with three others, should I call or email to let them know?

It depends on what you want to do. Assuming you don't want to accept the offer that you have, you should email the other three telling them of your impending deadline... otherwise, they will assume that they can keeping taking all the time in the world to get back to you.Anonymous User wrote:I have an offer from one firm but outstanding callbacks with three others, should I call or email to let them know?

I have like 5 1LSA Screeners in a secondary Midwestern market next week.
Do any of you guys who have been through this have any suggestions? They would be much appreciated.

Re: Heard Back For 1L SA Position
I just had a similar experience, so I'll share my thoughts . If it's a market you obviously have ties to, expect it to be very conversational. There will probably just be a couple of basic questions about how you're enjoying law school, if you have a specific area of law you're interested in, etc.Anonymous User wrote:I have like 5 1LSA Screeners in a secondary Midwestern market next week.

If you don't have obvious ties, expect to sell your interest in that market basically the entire time.

Re: Heard Back For 1L SA Position
Any comments on Lewis Brisbois? I've read some stuff about them from 2011 and back saying that they pay crap. No NALP which seems odd for a firm of 800+ attorneys.
It's far from my first choice; just one of the interviews i have coming up. But if it's a SA and they pay me this summer, i guess i'll take it.
